Scent Trial – July 12

Border Terrier Canada has been approved to hold a CKC Scent Trial – July 12, the Sunday following the National specialty.

The Trial will be heald at St. Margaret’s School (20 minutes away from the show site) in Victoria.

All levels from Instinct to Master will be offered with 2 Judges running concurrently.

Judges to be approved by CKC but they will both be FABULOUS.

The trial will be open to all breeds and prizes are planned for Border Terriers that earn a qualifying score.  CKC trials fill quickly on the Island so it’s suggested that you be ready to enter via Dogshow.ca when it opens.

There will be many volunteering opportunities so even if your dog isn’t ready or you’re curious to see what CKC scent trials are about, this is a great opportunity to learn more.  Also, volunteering is a great way to observe our wonderful dogs working scent.

Keep checking here for updates.  Lia Bijsterveld is the Chair and can be contacted at thedogsma@shaw.ca
